Illustrator CS4's New Blob Brush Tool is the Future

If you have Illustrator CS4 and a Wcom tablet, you can now make vectors the way every beginning Illustrator user wants to: by drawing them. Is this the end of the Pen tool or just a new role for the Pen tool. Maybe the Pen tool will now only be a refinement tool rather than a creation tool.

Where are all the jobs?

It is a scary time now, isn't it? We are in a recession, companies are going bankrupt, the housing market is down the hole, and jobs are hard to find. Even for us designers. Don't it suck? I think so. At least we have a rock and foundation that is stronger than any piggy bank or trust fund or anything. We have God to protect through any financial period.
But still, if there is anyone out there looking for cool designers to work for them, you have come the right place.

Welcome to the new EDGE blog

I am excited to announce that the new EDGE blog is open. We will now be able to post content on to the web. We can talk about anything: new movies, cool design tools and resources, things we are dealing with in our faith, or whatever. I am excited to see what the members of EDGE decide to publish.
I would like to thank Emrah Baskaya from www.hesido.com for helping with the javascript that allows the site to scroll and www.lynda.com for teaching me all I know about coding.
